Privacy Notice

This notice explains how the Bodhi Boat website handles the information you share with us.

What we collect

Market research survey answers, such as your country, how many dogs you have, your largest dog’s weight, your paddling activities, whether you’d use Bodhi Boat for your dog or for cargo, your board’s attachment points, feature preferences, price expectations and any comments.
Your name and email address, if you choose to share them.
Your choices: giveaway notification or giveaway entry, acceptance of the giveaway rules, and whether you’d like product news, with the date of each choice.
Basic campaign information from the link you used to reach us (for example, which Facebook or Instagram ad you clicked). This helps us understand which posts people find useful.

Survey answers help guide Bodhi Boat’s development.
If you ask to be notified about the giveaway, we’ll only use your email to tell you when it opens.
When the giveaway is open, entry details are used only to run the giveaway, check eligibility and contact the winner, as set out in the official rules.
If you opt in to news and product updates, we’ll email you about Bodhi Boat’s progress and launch.
Giveaway participation and marketing emails are separate. You never have to sign up for marketing emails to take part in the giveaway, and you can complete the survey without giving an email.

We do not sell your personal information. Survey responses and email addresses are available only to the Bodhi Boat team through a password protected admin page.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us to unsubscribe, or to ask us to access, correct or delete your information.

A Bodhi Boat giveaway is planned for residents of Canada and the United States. It hasn’t opened yet. The official rules will be posted on our giveaway rules page when it does. Following us on social media will never be required.
